INW Solutions was very excited to get out and participate in two of their favorite events: ACCS and VAGP!
ACCS is the Association of Collegiate Computing Services of Virginia. This coalition of professionals from across the higher education spectrum came to Portsmouth, VA this year. INW Solution was fortunate to be a sponsor this year and participate in their vendor showcase alongside other industry stalwarts like Dell, Logitech, and Blackboard.
The event was extremely well-organized and the topics of the sessions covered many aspects of the collegiate IT experience. Virginia Tech led a great session reviewing their ransomware attack and sharing their experience to help their peers prevent or respond more effecitively to these types of cybersecurity attacks. We heard from other IT professionals about their struggle to meet E911 compliance regulations. Other sessions focused on Managing Classroom Technology, Integrating Security Into the Project Process and how to address accessibility requirements like HECVAT (Higher Education Community Vendor Assessment Toolkit).

BUT! Not only was this event professionally enriching, but it was also a lot of FUN! With themed event nights and professional entertainment, this event allowed attendees to get some much-needed social interaction.

We are already looking forward to returning next year!
INW Solutions is also fortunate to be a sponsor for the Virginia Association of Governmental Purchasing. As a SWAM/Micro-Business in the Commonwealth and a state contract holder, we wanted to make connections with the people who use companies like ours. It was an event dominated by IT and construction service companies.
The attendees enjoyed a unique Monopoly and game themed vendor showcase where INW had participants revisiting their childhood with a game of Rock Em Sock Em Robots. It was a lot of fun. It was held at the beautiful Marriott Oceanfront in Virginia Beach and we had fantastic weather.
